PASSION TO ADVOCATE AND PROTECT, ONE CRIMIINAL CASE AT A TIME
André Craig, Jr., considers his role as a criminal defense attorney as more than a position, but a passion. Advocating on behalf of others is something André has done from a very young age and continues to do so in his practice. His desire is to serve clients to the best of his ability; bring hope in an otherwise hopeless situation; protect them the best way possible under the facts and circumstances of each case; and place them in a better situation than when they first came into his office. Whether his clients are facing State or Federal prosecution, André walks the journey with them.
Throughout André’s career, he has given back to the community by devoting countless hours with legal aid organizations in both Virginia and Texas, as well as the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. In 2018, André was recognized by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) as one of “DVAP’s Finest,” for his contribution to low-income individuals seeking legal assistance through the Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
André graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a Bachelor’s in Government, with a Pre-Law concentration, and later obtained a Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law. Additionally, André is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and is certified to practice law and the Bar of the District of Columbia (D.C.) Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C.
